What did you learn about photography that you did not know before?
I learned a lot about photography this semester. I definitely learned a lot more about light and how it affects pictures in so many different ways. I also learned a lot about my film camera and had a lot of fun taking pictures with it in different settings. I learned a lot in photo shop because I have never done it before. It makes me wish I had a mac computer to play around on photo shop with. I definitely learned at least one thing a day in this class. One thing that ill remember is developing the film from of film cameras, I still remember all the steps and what not to do.
What did you learn about yourself this semester?
I didn't actually realize how into taking photos I really was. This class helped me figure out what kind of camera I like to use also. Even though the film camera is kind of difficult to develop I think I enjoyed that the most and I actually got my mom to buy me film for it so I can take pictures at home or wherever I want outside of class. I also learned that I miss A LOT of school and that's very tricky to make up.
What do you wish we had done that we did not?
I wish we would have done more with the light writing like a full project on it because I think that its fun to do which makes it a lot better. I also wanted to know more about it and the different ways you can do it. I wish we would have done more with the film cameras too even though we did do some I wish we would have been able to do more.
What was your struggle?
I think my struggle was mainly keeping up after being gone because I was sick a lot and had lots of appointments. I wish I would have worked harder to catch up too, but I guess I learned that missing a lot of school can put you very behind. I also struggled at the beginning of the semester concentrating on doing my work and staying focused because I was diagnosed with ADD. I got medicine that helped me a lot but I know that was a big struggle for me.
What did you conquer?
I think that I conquered quite a bit this semester. I learned a lot and I know that at first I was pretty bad but I got a lot better and it got a lot easier as the class went on. I also conquered my ADD and that was a big part of this semester in a lot of ways. I think that this class actually helped me a lot in realizing that I was struggling at paying attention and being focused.
